16 Government Certificates to Be Delivered Within Five Days Under New System

Residents of Tamil Nadu may soon find it easier to obtain several government certificates through online services. The state government has revised its verification process with the aim of reducing the time required to issue 16 of the 27 certificates available through the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency.

Under the revised system, officials will be able to process applications more efficiently, while citizens can track different stages of their applications online. The government expects the change to reduce processing time from the current two-to-three-week period to around five days for the selected certificates.

The move is expected to particularly benefit citizens who depend on government certificates for education, employment, welfare schemes, property-related work and other official requirements.
