Ambulance Network Strengthened at 70 Accident Hotspots
Tamil Nadu is strengthening its emergency medical response system by deploying additional 108 ambulances and standby arrangements at 70 identified accident hotspots. The initiative is aimed at reducing the time required to reach accident victims and provide emergency medical assistance.
Officials have identified locations where road accidents occur more frequently and are positioning emergency resources closer to those areas. The move could be particularly important on busy highways and major road corridors, where every minute can matter during a medical emergency.
