Tamil Nadu Education — B.Ed Second-Phase Admissions

Tamil Nadu has opened the second phase of B.Ed admissions for 2026, giving eligible students another opportunity to apply for vacant seats in government and government-aided teacher education colleges.

The online application window opened on September 7 and will remain available until September 15, 2026. The announcement follows the completion of the first phase of counselling, after which vacancies remained available in several institutions.

According to information released by the Tamil Nadu Higher Education Department, 578 seats are available in the second phase. This includes 70 vacancies in two government education colleges and 508 vacancies across 10 government-aided education colleges.

Students interested in these seats have been advised to use the official admission process and check the available colleges and courses before submitting their applications.

Although the application window remains open until September 15, students should not wait until the final day to complete registration. Applicants should verify eligibility, documents and other admission requirements before submitting their choices.
